Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope
This Policy applies to every user of the Bankable platform, including trial users, and to anyone you permit to use your account.
2. Prohibited uses — the Service
You shall not:
1. share account credentials, or permit more individuals to use the Service than the number of seats you have purchased;
2. resell, sublicense, white-label, or provide access to the Service to any third party, or use it to provide analytical services to third parties in a manner that substitutes for their own subscription, other than delivering completed analyses to your own clients or investors in the ordinary course of your business;
3. reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to reconstruct the calculation logic, model formulae, or methodologies of the Service;
4. copy or extract the deal models, templates, formulae, help content, or documentation for use outside the Service;
5. use automated means, including scrapers, crawlers, headless browsers or scripted clients, to access, index, or extract from the Service, except through an API we provide and within its documented limits;
6. use the Service or any output to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or develop any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model, or any competing product;
7. exceed or circumvent rate limits, seat limits, usage quotas, paywalls, or authentication controls;
8. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, without our prior written consent;
9. introduce any virus, worm, or malicious code, or interfere with the availability, integrity or performance of the Service or the infrastructure it runs on;
10. access the Service to build a competitive product, or for competitive benchmarking or intelligence purposes;
11. remove, alter, obscure, or crop any watermark, attribution, or disclaimer that appears on or in any report, proforma, export or output generated by the Service.
3. Prohibited uses — content and conduct
You shall not use the Service to:
1. upload or process any content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes any intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality right;
2. upload personal information of any individual without the consent or other lawful authority required by applicable privacy law;
3. upload special categories of sensitive data for which the Service is not designed, including government identification numbers, social insurance numbers, credit or debit card numbers, banking credentials, health information, biometric data, or information about children;
4. commit or facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or tax evasion;
5. produce or distribute any document, proforma, projection, or valuation indication that you know or ought reasonably to know is materially misleading, or that misrepresents an output of the Service as an appraisal, valuation, audit, financing commitment, or professional opinion;
6. make any statement to a lender, investor, regulator, court, or counterparty that attributes to Bankable any verification, endorsement, approval or opinion in respect of a transaction, property, or projection;
7. engage in any conduct that violates fair housing, human rights, or anti-discrimination law, including using the Service to screen or price tenancies on any prohibited ground;
8. harass, threaten, or abuse our personnel or other users.
4. Representations to third parties
Outputs of the Service are your work product, based on your assumptions. If you provide an output to a third party, you must not describe it as verified, endorsed, approved, audited, or produced by Bankable, and you must not remove any disclaimer. You are responsible for any representation you make and for complying with any professional, licensing, or regulatory obligation that applies to you, including real-estate brokerage, mortgage brokerage, appraisal, securities and exempt-market dealer obligations in your jurisdiction.
5. Fair use and system integrity
We may apply reasonable technical limits — for example on API calls, export volume, model count, storage, or concurrent sessions — to protect the Service for all customers. Where your usage materially exceeds normal use for your plan, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate plan before taking any restrictive action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service.
6. Security research
We welcome good-faith vulnerability reports at privacy@bankable.properties. Report privately, give us reasonable time to remediate, do not access or exfiltrate any data that is not your own, do not degrade the Service, and do not disclose publicly until we confirm remediation. We will not pursue action against research conducted on those terms.
7. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may: contact you; require you to remedy the issue; restrict a feature; suspend the account; terminate the subscription under section 15.3 of the Terms; retain evidence; and report unlawful conduct to the authorities. We will give notice and an opportunity to remedy where the circumstances reasonably permit, but we may act immediately where there is a risk to the Service, to other customers, to any individual, or of unlawful activity. Suspension or termination for breach of this Policy does not entitle you to a refund.
8. Reporting
Report suspected misuse to legal@bankable.properties.
